About
Loudoun 40 Under 40 awards recognize Loudoun County's rising business and community leaders, honoring 40 bright stars under the age of 40 annually. In its twelfth year, the awards program has featured our area’s most accomplished and inspiring young talent. Our past honorees represent a broad swath of our Loudoun community; among them are teachers, doctors, attorneys, CEOs, bankers, engineers, authors, professional athletes and more. Some are first generation Americans, some are daughters and sons of the Revolution. Each honoree is a standout in his or her industry. Regardless of background or profession, all are committed to making our community a better place to live and work.
MEET OUr 2025 Class
Across Virginia, the population of adults aged 25 to 45 is growing. But in Loudoun, the data points to a different reality. Our median age has climbed from about 33.6 in 2000 to nearly 38 today, and projections show demand from under-35 households declining in the years ahead. Rising housing costs are only part of the challenge. Job opportunities, long commutes, shifting lifestyle preferences, and strong regional competition are also making it more difficult for Loudoun to attract and retain young talent.
This year’s honorees aren’t just succeeding in their own fields—they are helping to make Loudoun the kind of place where young talent wants to live, work, and plant roots. Among them are leaders shaping policy on affordable housing, driving economic development, building a sense of community, and welcoming visitors to our area. We celebrate those in healthcare and education who are providing support to young families, from lactation assistance to early childhood development. We honor the professionals fostering wellness, advancing technology, driving financial security, and guiding legal and real estate decisions. We recognize the creative voices helping us put our best faces forward, and those caring for our four-legged friends who are part of the family.
Not only does this year’s class represent the best our county has to offer, they are also making Loudoun more appealing to people like themselves—creating the opportunities, services, and lifestyle that encourage young talent to plant roots here.
